Bio: ALANA LEE has been teaching movement, meditation, and breathwork for over 20 years. She was first introduced to Transformational Breathwork at the age of 19. She found it so healing that she joined her mother in a training and certification program the same year. Alana merges an extensive background in movement (dance, gymnastics, diving, acroyoga, and acrobatics) with further certification in Transformational & SOMA breathwork, Reiki energy healing, yoga, and life coaching. She brings a wisdom about breath and the body to guided transformational breathwork sessions which create profound somatic openings and allow us each to become our own healers.

Testimonials:

Lily's Testimonial

Alana Lee's breathwork sessions are the most profound healing experiences I've ever had. The release and transformation is incredible. On my first session, I sobbed and spewed out all this anger I didn't know was there at my parents and toxic former best friend. On my second session, I went deeper and uncovered/released so many painful instances I'd suffered at the hands of the "best friend" that I'd glossed over during the "friendship." And just to explain, none of this is planned. It's like your body and subconscious find and release what it really needs to in conjunction with Alana's breathwork. On my third session, I was bubbling over with love for my parents and family. Once I had released the things I was unconsciously mad at them about and other poisonous anger I was holding onto that didn't even have to do with them, I found all this space to express my love and appreciation for them. And as for the former friend, on this third session, I found myself forgiving her and apologizing for whatever role I had unconsciously played. It's amazing how much lighter and happier I feel from releasing all this. All from Alana's breathwork!! I'm so grateful for Alana and her sharing of her gifts!! ~ Jessica

Documentary Night: EQUAL MEANS EQUAL

Saturday, March 18 | 5:30 pm - 7 pm
Donations welcomed

Taosenos unite for equal rights! Come learn about the rights of women in the US with a showing of Kamala Lopez' documentary:

EQUAL MEANS EQUAL offers an unflinching look at how women are treated in the United States today. Examining both real-life stories and precedent-setting legal cases, director Kamala Lopez uncovers how outdated and discriminatory attitudes inform and influence seemingly disparate issues, from work place harassment to domestic violence, rape and sexual assault to the foster care system, and the healthcare conglomerate to the judicial system. Along the way, she reveals the inadequacy of present laws that claim to protect women, ultimately presenting a compelling and persuasive argument for the urgency of ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment.

We will have a discussion and plan a year of activism in Taos starting March 22, 2023.

A HUNDRED YEARS
of working for the
EQUAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT (ERA)!

On January 27th, 2020 the thirty-eighth state ratified the Equal Rights Amendment! Yet now the administration is blocking ERA from being added to the U.S. Constitution.

Bio: Wildcat was born in the Oklahoma Seminole Nation and moved around a lot growing up, living in a number of different cultures in this country and traveling abroad. Music (especially singing and drumming), dance, and the psychedelic sacrament medicines are important parts of his spiritual relationship with reality, as are meditation, asana, and time in nature. His family includes 3 dog women and his romantic partner, all of whom spend as much time playing outdoors as possible. He studied mathematics and mechanical engineering in school then left it all behind to do regenerative ecology work, focusing on the restoration of biodiversity above and within the ground, with an emphasis on fungi. He’s been DJing for 20 years, exploring the world of musical styles in the process.

Music: Wildcat’s musical focus is on the beautiful, the psychedelic, the emotionally stirring, the deeply funky, the healthy sexy, and on soundscapes that paint vivid pictures within him. He loves organic indigenous musical traditions from around the world, African and Afro-Caribbean rhythms, modern combinations of these old traditions, and the new spaces where modern electronica production styles interface with them. His favorite dance tracks have the rooted, Earthy, indigenous elements grounding them, the core-centered strong sexuality, the chest-centered urban style cool funk sensibility, and the powerful psychedelic spiritual science informing his spirit as he moves with them. In his life in general and as a musician, Wildcat focuses on bringing good medicine.
