Taos Tarot Salon - June

Sunday June 9th 1-3pm, $10 Suggested Donation.

In this class, we'll explore the hero's journey (or fool's journey) through the major arcana. All levels are welcome and beginners are encouraged to attend! The Hero’s Journey (or Fool’s Journey) is a metaphor for the journey through our lives. Each major arcana card stands for a stage of that journey, as well as an experience we are invited to incorporate on our path to wholeness.

Come prepared for an afternoon of learning and journaling as we study the structure and archetypes of the major arcana.

We will be focusing on the Rider Waite-Smith (RWS) tarot system and if you don’t have a deck, no problem because we'll have extras you can use.

• Ages 13 and up

• Donations based

If you have any questions, just let me know. I’d love to hear from you and hope to see you there!  ~Tori

Taos Tarot Salon - Learning the Major Arcana

Learning Tarot’s Major Arcana, Sunday May 19th, 2:30pm-4:30pm

In this workshop, you’ll learn techniques and begin work on your own personal tarot reference guide through the use of writing prompts, intuition, traditional keywords, plus elemental and astrological correspondences. All levels are welcome and beginners are encouraged to attend!

********** Please Note **********

• There is a cash fee of $10 for this workshop

• Limited to ages 13 and up so please no children

***********************************

Come prepared for a fun and thoughtful afternoon of learning and writing using your favorite pen and paper as we each create our own personal tarot reference. I’ve started keeping my reference in a simple 3-ring binder with notebook paper. It’s cheap and works great!

We will be focusing on the Rider Waite-Smith (RWS) tarot system and if you don’t have a tarot deck, no problem because I’ll bring extras. That said, the techniques we’ll be using work great with all decks so please feel free to bring any deck you have or prefer, along with your deck’s specific book to use as an additional reference. Also, bring any of your favorite reference books or materials. Everyone will receive handouts with the information necessary to complete the project at home.

Over the next couple of meetups, we will continue the theme of working with the major arcana and build on this work. So, if you're a beginner, please don't hesitate to jump in now!
