Vinyasa Flow with Ayla

Sunday April 25th, 10am-10:55am

Vinyasa Flow with Ayla is a breath, movement, stretch, and strengthen sequence with music for a meditative morning routine.

Ayla is a student of Ayurveda and Yoga, studies with Dr. Nisar Shaikh, founder of the Vedic Yoga Foundation and Salil Stress Clinic in Pune, India, She completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training locally at UNM Taos, focussing mainly on Hatha, Kundalini, and myofascial release. Ayla guides postures, movement, and breath to create a restorative practice and explores the 8 limbs of yoga to promote the traditional science of connection through body, mind, community, and higher-self.
One of Ayla's personal favorite practices is meditation through dance, she has studied Egyptian, Oriental, and Folkloric Bellydance with local inspiration, Sakti Rinek. She likes to think of this practice as a movement meditation through the divine feminine. Ayla truly believes in the health benefits of a yogic lifestyle and the empowerment that comes with strengthening body, mind, and spirit. She has been so inspired by such physical and mental disciplines and hopes to share.
