Born in 1976 and with a career extending over 20 years, Jason White (Jug Colangelo) has passionately immersed himself in music and considers it to be a continual driving force, vital to his existence. This saving grace as he would put it, found him at the age of sixteen. Although late for most, he quickly developed his craft which soon after, enabled him to begin performing with several local groups.  It was during this time that he co-founded a band called, "Planet O". Immediate success followed, and the group gained many supporters all through Colorado. While touring throughout the state, and eventually the west coast, Jug gained much notoriety for his searing leads and tasteful blues driven style. With respect to his vocal method, it can be described as exhibiting a raspy, rock-like tone, while demonstrating an expressive and deft approach.

Over the years Jug has opened for such acts which include Leon Russell, The Meditations, David Lindley, Tea Leaf Green, Sister Carol, Edgar Winter, Randy McAllister, Elephant Revival, and has performed with The Mighty Diamonds and Rankin Scroo for their nationwide tours. Although “Planet O" is still currently together, Jug has found the time to assist in cultivating several other projects. Today, he finds himself performing with multiple bands including the latest group called, “Soul Tones”. If asked what his future looks like, he’ll tell you that the skies are the limit and to stay tuned for more good music, because the best is yet to come.
